We’re not like traditional day care and boarding kennels! If you have questions not covered here, don’t hesitate to call for more information.

Here are answers to some common questions:

Questions About Rates

Q: What are your rates and do you offer discounts for multiple dogs?

The boarding rate for dogs already enrolled in a day care program is $30/night and $15 for each additional dog from the same family, limit 3 dogs. The regular boarding rate is $40/night for the first dog and $20/night for each additional dog from the same family. All holiday boarding rates are $50/night for the first dog and $25/night for each additional dog.

Q: Do you offer boarding bulk rates?

Boarding stays of 10 consecutive nights or longer will receive a 10% discount. Stays of 20 or more consecutive nights will receive 20% off.

Q: Do you offer traditional neighborhood walks?

Neighborhood walks are $60/week at three visits per week or $80/week for daily walks. Neighborhood walks are 1/2 hour and include waste removal and watering. Lots of love and exceptional care! Please contact us for more info on this service.

Day Care Questions

Q: I need to start my dog with a day care program, what’s the first step?

The first step is to schedule a free temperament evaluation. During this visit, we’ll make sure your dog/s fit in with one of our adventure groups and collect copies of your current vaccination records. We’ll also talk about any special needs, requests, or specific questions during this initial meeting.

Q: How often should my dog go to day care?

This largely depends on your schedule, but we do have some recommendations. The more you use us, the more you’ll notice that look of calm contentment on your dog’s face. Structured socialization and exercise are very important when it comes to raising a healthy and well balanced dog.

Q: Is transportation included with the weekly day care prices?

Yes. Free transport can be arranged for the Austin metro area, please call for specific details. All other pick ups are subject to a nominal fee to be determined before a scheduled pick up.

Boarding Questions

Q: I want to board my dog, what’s the first step?

If you’re already a day care customer, then you’re all set to start boarding with us. For new clients, the first step is to schedule a free temperament evaluation before your requested boarding dates. During this visit, we’ll make sure your dog/s fit in with our boarding system and collect copies of your current vaccination records. We’ll also talk about any special needs, requests, or other specific questions during this initial meeting.

Q: What do I need to bring for my dog’s stay?

Besides food, not much... everything your dog will need for her stay is provided. If you’d like to send along some creature comforts such as a favorite bed or blanket, that’s great!

Q: How does pick up and/or drop off work?

We remain flexible and work with your preferred drop off and pick up times. Free transport can be arranged in Central Austin. Other areas are available citywide for a nominal fee.

Q: Do you offer holiday boarding?

Totally. But do your best to schedule holiday boarding in advance-- space is limited and we do get fully booked for major holidays like Thanksgiving, Xmas, and New Year’s Eve.

Q: Do you require my dog/s be on flea and tick medication?

No, however: Dogs will be inspected for fleas upon arrival. In extreme situations, a topical prevention medication will be used to prevent further infestation. These medications will be administered at the owner’s expense, not without notice. (Cost is $10 per treatment.)
